Flying the Andes

So we spent a crazy amount of time driving up and down the foothills of the Andes today. The clouds blocked us in about a thousand feet short of launch the first time up. So we had a nice little lunch in town. The sky pretended to open up and our local PG guide swore it was about to clear so we went up for a second try. It cleared above, with some periods of rain, but then the valley below filled in. It was either launchable or landable, but never both at the same time. We had fun on the journey though. Our timing was a bit frustrating because as we drove out of town in search of that mountain high, we left behind some great weather in the city. Oh well, can win them all!
